ugly journal club ~ august edition

junk journaling has become a huge trend in the last year

there are so many insanely creative people who share their journals online which is so inspiring

but i think through social media and trend culture, we have lost the ability of trying and experimenting, of allowing ourselves to be bad at something and not caring what the result looks like

journals should be an extension of your brain. they should be messy, crazy, experimental and not make sense to anyone but you 

journals should be ugly

& that’s why were starting the ugly journal club

starting in August, Jassie will be hosting FREE monthly journal catch ups at cafes across the Sunshine Coast

they will be on the last sunday of each month

think of it as a dedicated time to spend on your journal 

a chance to experiment, let your brain freely pour onto the pages & see what comes out & of course to disect the latest pop-culture news while taking out your feminine rage with a glue stick

Jassie is a journal & craft enthusiast with the most imaginative spreads and ideas

if you have met Jassie, you will know the feeling of being in her presence

she is endlessly inspiring, creative and embodies the ability of being able to create with no pressure or expectation

whenever Jassie comes to the crafty events, I leave with 20 new ideas in my head and a new surge of motivation

she is also sooo funny

this is a free event, intented for you to bring your own journal kits & share amoungst the group
