crochet for beginners: make your own coaster set from t-shirt yarn

I'm SO excited to bring this event to you ~ my insanely talented sister Libby will be teaching us how to crochet!!

this event is for absolute beginners who have never tried crochet before, or maybe you've attempted but just can't work it out

Libby will guide us through making small squares with t-shirt yarn, which you can turn into a coasters

t-shirt yarn is thicker and super easy to crochet with, allowing you to clearly see your knots and where you've gone wrong

how it works:

• you'll get a ball of t-shirt yarn which will include enough to make 4 square coasters & a crochet hook

• Libby will guide us through making the first coaster

• we will keep practicing until we get it right & then finish the set!

• after the night, you'll leave feeling confident to start your next crochet project & have the tools to do so

what you need to bring:

• absolutely nothing, all materials will be provided

• if you have an old shirt or piece of fabric you like the colour of, you can bring that and turn it into t-shirt yarn! it just needs to have some stretch to it
